President & FounderEsther "Queen" Arroyo ...

As a community activist and dedicated service worker,  Queen currently serves as a Community Coordinator for a leading gun violence prevention program in Queens, NY.   In her daily work, she is introduced to youth that have been identified as at high-risk for violence or neglect.  Her work connects children and families to viable intergovernmental services, support agencies and other community based organizations.

Queen has been highly visible in the greater New York area, working actively with the Mayor's Office, and New York City's Crisis Management System, to prevent gun violence and shootings.  A former USA Boxing official and marathon runner, Queen has been an advocate for youth for over 20 years, speaking out against violence and sexual abuse.

Queen's vision to create safe environments for children permeates her entire body of work.  She is often spotted with her bull-horn on the streets of New York following a tragic shooting or an act of gun violence, pleading her mantra, "Don't shoot!  Live!"
